Britishvolt is a leading electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturer, and the company recently held an event to showcase its latest innovations in cell, module, and heavy battery packs. In order to enhance the visitor experience, Britishvolt decided to develop an augmented reality (AR) application for iOS devices that would allow users to learn more about the company's products in a interactive and engaging way.
The project involved creating a user experience design that would guide users through the AR experience and provide them with relevant information about Britishvolt's products. The team at Britishvolt worked closely with the developers to ensure that the application was intuitive and easy to use. Once the user experience design was finalized, the developers began working on the technical aspects of the project, building the AR application using the Unity3D engine. The application used object tracking to detect a real car in the exhibition, and then augmented various types of content over the car, including 3D models, videos, and text.
The Britishvolt AR application was a huge success at the event, with visitors reporting that it was an engaging and informative way to learn about the company's products. The application received positive feedback from both attendees and the press, and Britishvolt plans to continue using AR as a marketing tool in the future.
The Britishvolt AR application was a successful example of how augmented reality can be used to enhance the visitor experience at events and exhibitions. By using object tracking and Unity3D, the team was able to create an engaging and interactive experience that helped visitors learn more about the company's products.
